With voice mail, it is often impossible to speak with someone who is trying to avoid you. Often a compelling letter or especially a FAX can penetrate a screen and put forth a few of the important ideas you are trying to communicate. Don't waste time with a lot of fluff--get right to the point and spell out the benefits.
