Hello,
Thank you for writing for information on how to register to vote in the state of <state>. To register, you must be a citizen of the United States with a legal residence within <state>, and you must be at least 18 years of age with valid identification.
If you meet that requirement, the simplest way to register is to go to your local Post Office and pick up a Voter Registration Form. Once you have filled this form out in full, drop it in the mail and it will be sent to your county Registrar of Voters, where your name will be added to the voter rolls. Then you're registered!
Remember, any time you move, change your name (through marriage, for instance), or want to change party affiliations, you must re-register to vote.
Thank you for inquiring about voter registration. Good luck!
Regards,
Jim Karter
