<Recipient Address Goes Here>
Hello,
During the last election, it was clear to any observer that <candidate name> was leading and was expected to win. However, following the election many residents of <area name> were shocked to discover that <name of winner> had actually won. I feel, as do many local voters, that there must be an error in the vote count.
<suspicions>
I am not alleging any sort of deliberate voter fraud. However, the polls before the election and the results of the election gave such shocking different results that I think some error in counting or vote collection is likely. I would appreciate it if you would look into this without delay.
Thank you.
Regards,
Jim Karter
